As the race progressed, Linn qualified to the semi-finals by being second in her round while Lina finished third and did not make it to the next round. Linn was also second in her semi-final round and continued to the final leg where she managed to be on the podium by taking home the third-place trophy five seconds behind the winner Anna Dyvik.

At the same time with Sweden, Norway is also having its cross-country ski season premiere in Beitostølen this weekend, and in Finland, Suomi-Cup will continue in Taivalkoski. Today’s sprint competition in Beitostølen had to be canceled due to gusty winds. Tomorrow, 10 km and 15 km classic races will take place both in Sweden and Norway and on Sunday in Finland, and many Pro Team athletes are testing their shape and capacity against the standard distance skiers.
