After the 3 Zinnen Ski-Marathon on Saturday, Ski Classics Season XVI moves the same weekend to Event 4, La Venosta ITT Kapron-Melago, on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

On Sunday, January 12, La Venosta ITT Kapron-Melago continues the weekend in Italy with a transfer from Sexten to Val Venosta for the fourth Pro Tour event Season XVI. The Südtirol weekend is the first time that Ski Classics have two events during the same weekend on different locations, but in the same region.

The ITT – Individual Time Trial features a thrilling 12-kilometer race against the clock. Pro Team athletes embark on an individual start race and strive to achieve the fastest time while navigating the challenging course.

“We have for some years wanted to test to have back-to-back events in different locations. In Season XVI we found the right time with the possibility to have two events in Südtirol. Pro Team athletes will tackle a 60-kilometer long-distance race on Saturday, finishing in Niederdorf, followed by a transfer to the 12-kilometer ITT on Sunday in Melago, in Langtauferer Tal. For the ITT we have also updated the finish and moved it from Melago Alm to Melago, outside Evi’s Hüttl café. This will keep the uphill part of the course but prolong it with a 3km downhill to the finish adding an extra dimension to the race,” says Ski Classics Director David Nilsson.
