The Ski Classics Challengers event, Moraloppet, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Mora, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden, Moraloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Anja Stolpe, Lager 157 Ski Team, and Bruno Dettmann, Lager 157 Ski Team, won their respective races with strong performances.

Moraloppet – 42km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner Anja Stolpe, Lager 157 Ski Team, completed the race in a time of 2:02:25.3.

Karoline Næss, Team Front Rustad IL, finished in second place, 9.1 seconds behind, closely followed by Ida Palmberg, Team Ramudden, completing the podium in third position and 10.3 seconds back.

  1. Anja Stolpe, Lager 157 Ski Team, 2:02:25.3
  2. Karoline Næss, Team Front Rustad IL, +9.1
  3. Ida Palmberg, Team Ramudden, +10.3
  4. Alba Björnsdotter, Team Ramudden, +7:18.0
  5. Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, +7:26.6

Moraloppet – 42km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Bruno Dettmann, Lager 157 Ski Team, with a total time of 1:44:23.1.

Halvor Korbøl Thoner, YC RØR Sjusjøen Ski Team, finished in second place, 2.7 seconds back, followed by Alfred Nilsson, Filipstads SF, 3.5 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Bruno Dettmann, Lager 157 Ski Team, 1:44:23.1
  2. Halvor Korbøl Thoner, YC RØR Sjusjøen Ski Team, +2.7
  3. Alfred Nilsson, Filipstads SF, +3.5
  4. Markus Hallén Johansson, Offerdals SK, +3.8
  5. Magnus Waaler, Team Front Rustad IL, +5.4
