Slettemark and Møller winners of stage 3 and overall at Arctic Circle Race 2024

The third and final stage of the 160km Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race took place this Sunday with a 50.8km long-distance race in classic technique in Sisimiut, Greenland. Get to know the third day and overall winners.

After a long day of skiing in Greenland, the Ski Classics Challengers event Arctic Circle Race saw Ukaleq Slettemark and Martin Möller winning their respective stage 3 races and the overall competition.

Arctic Circle Race – Day 3 – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Ukaleq Slettemark with a total time of 3:51:28.0. 

Christina Natalie Kompf finished in second place, 5:26:.0 behind the winner, followed by Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen, 8:57.0 back, who completed the podium in third place.

  1. Ukaleq Slettemark (GRL), 3:51:28.0
  2. Christina Natalie Kompf (DEN), +5:26.0
  3. Sasja Hendriksen Joelsen (GRL), +8:57.0

Arctic Circle Race – Day 3 – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner of day 3 was Martin Møller, completing the race in a time of 2:59:09.0.

Qulutak Møller finished in second place, 7.0 seconds behind the winner, followed by Simen Andersen, who completed the podium in third place and 4:15.0 back.

Men

  1. Martin Møller (GRL), 10:25:53
  2. Anders Brink Nyberg (DEN), 11:03:58
  3. Bjarne Herbert Hansen (GRL), 11:08:11

As the event is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
