Birkebeinerrennet marked the eleventh Pro Tour stage and the fourth and final Grand Classics event in the Ski Classics Season XVI. After the weekend in Norway, these are the rankings and bib holders in all competitions.

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, Birkebeinerrennet took center stage as the eleventh Pro Tour event of Season XVI. After the challenging Saturday, these are the rankings and bib-holders in the Champion, Sprint, Climb, Youth, Cubs, Vets, and Pro Team competitions.

CHAMPION COMPETITION

Looking at the Ski Classics overall classification after Birkebeinerrennet, the Yellow Champion Bib Competition belongs to Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, and Amund Hoel, Team Engcon.

In the women’s overall, Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, leads with a total of 3430 points. You can see complete results from Gjerde Alnæs HERE.

Anikken Gjerde Alnæs is followed by Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, with 3319 points. Third place overall is Jenny Larsson, Lager 157 Ski Team, with 2765 points.

In the men’s battle for overall, the Yellow bib rests on Amund Hoel’s shoulders. Hoel, Team Engcon, leads the Champion competition with 2513 points. Complete results from Amund Hoel can be found HERE. 

Second place overall is Johan Tjelle, Team Engcon, with 2397 points, followed by Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon, with 2365 points.

SPRINT COMPETITION

After no Sprint checkpoints at Birkebeinerrennet, Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, is the Green bib holder with 275 points. Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, is in second place with 188 points, and Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge, is in third place with 144 points, tied with Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden.

After the weekend with no Sprint points, Vebjørn Moen, Team Eksjöhus, carries the Green bib of the men’s Sprint competition with 289 points. Anton Persson, Team Ramudden, is in second place with 213 points, and Simen Ramstad, Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV, is in third place with 108 points.

CLIMB COMPETITION

After the Climb checkpoints this weekend, Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, with 239 points, and Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, with 149 points, are carrying the bib in the Climb Competition.

In the women’s Climb competition, Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, leads with 239 points. Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, is in second place with 226 points, followed now by Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge, in third with 198 points.

In the men’s side, Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, now leads the Climb competition with 149 points. Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, is in second place with 142 points, followed now by Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon, in third place, with 132 points.

YOUTH COMPETITION

The Pink bibs in the Youth Competition are resting on the shoulders of Louise Lindström, Team Eksjöhus, and Jeremy Royer, Team Eksjöhus, with 2398 and 1554 points, respectively.

Louise Lindström, Team Eksjöhus, is leading with 2398 points. Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon, is in second place with 2280 points, followed by Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, in third place for the Pink bib with 2178 points.

Jeremy Royer, Team Eksjöhus, is leading with 1554 points. Amund Riege, Team Ramudden, is in second place with 1426 points, and Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, with 1368 points, is in third place for the Youth bib overall.

PRO TEAM COMPETITION

After Birkebeinerrennet, Team Eksjöhus leads the Pro Team Competition with 1960 points.

Second place is Team Engcon, with 1940 points. Third place is Lager 157 Ski Team with 1720 points after the weekend. 

CUBS

The Cubs leaders are Silva Kemppi, Team Mäenpää, and Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, with 404 and 1368 points, respectively.

Silva Kemppi, Team Mäenpää, is leading with 404 points. Cecil Kümpel, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, is in second place with 288 points, followed by Thea Nordin, Team Eksjöhus, in third place with 167 points.

Alvar Myhlback, Lager 157 Ski Team, is leading with 1368 points. Mikkel Sjursen, Team Synnfjell, is in second place with 143 points, tied with Halvor Bade, Team Synnfjell, with the same points.

VETS

The Vets leaders are Heli Heiskanen, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, and Sadurni Betriu Boix, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, with 412 and 81 points, respectively.

Heli Heiskanen, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, is leading with 412 points. Nicole Tröger, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, is in second place with 360 points, followed by Nicole Donzallaz, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, in third place with 343 points.

Sadurni Betriu Boix, Team Internorm Trentino GSG, is leading with 81 points. Sune Elmose, Danish Skimarathon Team, is in second place with 55 points, and Florian Göbel, with 20 points, is in third place.
