Marthe Kristoffersen is already a well-known name also as a coach. Not only because she is a female coach in the Ski Classics but also because Team Eksjöhus was the best Pro Team on the Tour last season.

The athletes on the team talk about a young woman who is able to see the whole person, not only the skier. Marthe Kristoffersen also introduces her own ideas of training, and she brings in some sessions not seen at Team Eksjöhus before.

In her active career, she was a teammate of traditional cross-country skiing stars like Marit Bjørgen and Therese Johaug. She competed in the World Cup and the World Championships. After that, she has also been a coach for the Norwegian regional Team Elon Innlandet with stars like Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, Ansgar Evensen, and others.

But the friendship with long-distance stars Magni Smedås and Morten Eide Pedersen brought her into Ski Classics. Now she is trying to defend the victory in the Pro Team competition this winter with Team Eksjöhus – and to win as many races as possible.

Meet Marthe Kristoffersen in this Ski Classics Ski or Die Raw Cut, where she talks about what’s important for her in training. How she learned from her own mistakes and why she puts in her own and different training sessions.

The full interview with Marthe Kristoffersen is available on the Ski Classics Play streaming service.
