The third and final episode of the documentary series Ski Classics Ski or Die will be released on Friday, December 1, at 12:00 CET. You can go behind the scenes with the Lager 157 Ski Team and last season’s star, Emil Persson.

Ski Classics Ski or Die is a unique documentary showing three Ski Classics Pro Teams preparing for the winter season. The premiere episode featuring the Norwegian Team Ragde Charge was released two weeks ago. The Czech Vltava Fund Ski Team starred in the second episode. And on Friday, the third and final episode will feature the Swedish Lager 157 Ski Team.

Lager 157 Ski Team features, among other solid names, last season’s powerhouse Emil Persson:

“I like the concept and the idea. And I hope that many people will take the opportunity to watch so that more people will discover this cool sport,” Persson tells ProXCskiing.com.

How has it been to have a media production team with you?

“I would say that we are very open. I’m not so secretive regarding my training, and it’s generally an open climate between the skiers,” says Persson, who won nine Ski Classics Pro Tour events last season.

What is the goal of this winter’s competition?

“Well, I aim to win many races, the Yellow Bib again and Vasaloppet again. But it’s hard to know. Last season, with nine victories, was almost too good to be true. But of course, if I’m going to continue to develop, I have to win ten now,” says Persson with a laugh.

Now, you can see Persson’s preparations for the winter season during last week’s training camp in Edsåsdalen, Sweden.
