Sjur Røthe and Benedicte Stien Schreiner Winners of Blåvegenløpet

The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Blåvegenløpet, took place today with a 45km race in classic technique at Mo I Rana, Norway.

The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Blåvegenløpet, took place today with a 45km race in classic technique at Mo I Rana, Norway.

After a day full of action, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event saw Sjur Røthe, Voss Idrettslag, and Benedicte Stien Schreiner, Skonseng UL, win the race with strong performances.

In the men’s competition, the winner was Sjur Røthe, Voss Idrettslag, with a total time of 2:06:09.0. Lars Agnar Hjelmeset, Gjelleråsen IF, finished in second place, 2:36.0 behind, followed by Tommy Hågensen, Skonseng UL, 7:38.0 back and completing the podium in the third position. 

In the women’s race, Benedicte Stien Schreiner, Skonseng UL, with a time of 2:25:56.0, won ahed of Benedikte Sjonbotn, Bossmo & Ytteren IL, in second place 15:30.0 back. Oda Leiråmo, Bossmo & Ytteren IL, 25:48.0 behind, finished in third place.

As Blåvegenløpet is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
