Renowned Dolomitenlauf This Weekend

by Leandro Lutz • 20.01.2022
The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event is a 42km long-distance race in classic technique and takes place this Sunday, January 23, with a welcoming start and finish in the biathlon center in Obertilliach, Austria.

In 2022, the Dolomitenlauf will again take place in Obertilliach, and the expanded biathlon center will offer an excellent infrastructure for this international event.

The event has 52 years of tradition and is one of Austria’s most important cross-country skiing events. With exceptional snow conditions in the area and perfectly groomed tracks, the Organizing Committee is ready to welcome recreational and Pro skiers alike.

“Regardless you’re professional or recreational skier – the Dolomitenlauf in the middle of our beautiful Dolomites is the perfect competition for everyone,” says Franz Theurl, President of the Organizing Club.
