Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon postponed to February 22

The Ski Classics Challengers event Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon, planned to take place on February 15 in Latvia, has been postponed to February 22, 2025.

Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon is a multi-distance event in Latvia, with the 50km long-distance ski race in freestyle technique being part of the Ski Classics Challengers series from 2024. Due to the lack of snow this winter, the event is now postponed to February 22, 2025.

According to a press release from the Local Organizing Committee, the event is postponed to a later date due to lack of snow.

“Important Information About the Upcoming Ski Event

Due to insufficient snow coverage at the moment, we are forced to postpone the 4th Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon to February 22.

Every effort is being made to ensure a high-quality course. Thank you for your understanding! We hope for snowy weather and look forward to seeing you on the course.

Registration is open until February 19.

Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon – Facts

As the Ranka Kartonfabric Ski Marathon 50km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
