The Ski Classics Challengers event, Lofsdalen Epic, took place this Saturday with a 55km long-distance classic technique race in Lofsdalen, Sweden. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Lofsdalen Epic, took place this Saturday with a 55km long-distance classic technique race in Lofsdalen, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Sweden, Lofsdalen Epic, saw a solid fight for the podium places. Ida Palmberg, Högbo GIF, and Hugo Hilmersson, Göteborgs SK, won their respective races with solid performances.

Lofsdalen Epic – Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Ida Palmberg, Högbo GIF, completed the race in a time of 2:54:02.3.

Madelene Nord, DPONLY Ski Club, finished in second place, 2.3 seconds behind, followed by Malva Nisen, Åsarna IK, completing the podium in third position and 2:43.4 back.

Lofsdalen Epic – Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Hugo Hilmersson, Göteborgs SK, with a total time of 2:32:42.9.

Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, finished in second place, 7.2 seconds back, followed by Tor Vincent, Östersund Ski Academy, 26.7 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
