Øyre Slind dominates Challengers Alliansloppet 2023

The Ski Classics Challengers event Alliansloppet, a 48km long-distance rollers ki race in classic technique, took place today in Trollhättan, Sweden. Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, dominated the women’s race. 

The Ski Classics Challengers event Alliansloppet, a 48km long-distance rollers ki race in classic technique, took place today in Trollhättan, Sweden. Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, dominated the women’s race. 

Many Ski Classics Pro Team athletes and World Cup skiers matched their skills in a 48km long-distance race today in Trollhättan, Sweden. After a rainy day, the Ski Classics Challengers Alliansloppet event saw Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, winning the race with a commanding performance.

Alliansloppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie. From the start of the second of three laps, Astrid broke away from the leading group of contenders and never looked back, winning the race with a solo and powerful performance and a time of 2:12:10.5. 

Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Ragde Charge, finished in second place, 2:42.4 behind, closely followed by Rosie Brennan, Team Robinson Trentino, 2:45.0 back and completing the podium in the third position.

As Alliansloppet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
