The Ski Classics Challengers event, Storlirennet, took place this Saturday with a 26.5km long-distance freestyle skiing race in Meråker, Norway. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Storlirennet, took place this Saturday with a 26.5km long-distance freestyle skiing race in Meråker, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Norway, Storlirennet, saw Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie/Oppdal IL, and Casper Kvam Grindhagen, Byaasen Skiklub/Team Elon Midt-Norge, winning their respective races with solid performances.

Storlirennet – Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie/Oppdal IL, completed the race in a time of 1:13:02.9.

Mali Eidnes Bakken, Rindal IL, finished in second place, 3:20.3 behind, followed by Guro Bostad, Strindheim IL/Team Elon Midt-Norge, completing the podium in third position and 4:53.6 back.

Storlirennet – Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Casper Kvam Grindhagen, Byaasen Skiklub/Team Elon Midt-Norge, with a total time of 1:04:05.0.

Emil Iversen, IL Varden Meråker, finished in second place, 2.7 seconds back, followed by Lars Heggen, Harestua IL, 1:29.1 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
