Marcialonga: Epic win for Runar Skaug Mathisen

Runar Skaug Mathisen, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the 70-kilometer-long Marcialonga that took place today from Moena to Cavalese in Italy, his first Ski Classics Pro Tour victory.

Runar Skaug Mathisen, Lager 157 Ski Team, won the Ski Classics event Marcialonga 2024 in a solo breakaway, his first Ski Classics Pro Tour win. Skaug Mathisen completed Season XV’s seventh stage and first Grand Classics event in a total time of 2:35:53.6. 

Second place, after a good fight to the line, went to Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, 4.8 seconds back. Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, completed the podium in the third position, 5.5 seconds behind the winner.
