After Birkebeinerrennet last weekend, the SC Ranking saw many changes. Still, Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, leads the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance skiers, while Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, is closer than ever in second place.

Emil Persson started Season XV on top of the SC Ranking with 26.400.000 points. After Birkebeinerrennet in Norway, the Swedish Pro Team athlete keeps the lead, now with 26.131.871 points.

In the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance cross-country skiers, Emil Persson is followed by Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, in 2^nd place, with 25.727.163 points. Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, is the 3^rd place with 25.444.304 points.

Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, is the new top 6 (from 7^th), with 24.606.367 points. Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, is stepping up from 8^th to 7^th place, with 24.012.768 points; while Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus, is moving from 9^th to 8^th place, with 23.852.025 points.

Huge step up to Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, moving from 18^th to 9^th place with 23.636.780 points. Entering the top 10 is Runar Skaug Mathisen, Lager 157 Ski Team, stepping up from 11^th to 10^th position in the SC Ranking with 23.615.386 points.

Among the Top 10, three Pro Team athletes are from Sweden, and seven are from Norway after Birkebeinerrennet.

Top 20
Notable in the top 20 is that Amund Riege, Team Ramudden, is moving up from 12^th to 11^th place. Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, stepped up from 13^th to 12th place, and Stian Hoelgaard, Team Aker Dæhlie, moved up from 23^rd to 18^th place after Birkebeinerrennet.

Athletes stepping up inside the top 50: Petter Stakston, Team Aker Dæhlie (from 24^th to 21^st); Eirik Sverdrup Augdal, Team Eksjöhus (from 25^th to 22^nd); Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus (from 31^st to 27^th); Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie (from 36^th to 31^st); and Nils Dahlsten, Lager 157 Ski Team (from 35^th to 32^nd).

Alfred Buskqvist, Team Ramudden (from 37th to 35th); Sofie Elebro, Team Eksjöhus (from 47th to 46th); Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon (58th to 48th); and Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino (from 57th to 50th) are also moving up.

The SC Ranking points are calculated on the percentual time as the skier is behind the winning time in their gender with an exponential drop of points. This makes it possible to create one single ranking for both women and men, professional and recreational skiers. 

Each skier can include results from their best 12 races within 24 months. The woman or man with the most points will have the #1 rank. In a Ski Classics Pro Tour event, the winning woman and man receive 2.000.000 points; in a Challengers event, the winners collect 500.000 points.

For the Pro Team athletes, Podium Bonus Points are also awarded to the top three skiers in each gender. A Pro Tour event winner gets 200.000 points, 2nd place brings 100.000 points, and 3rd place awards 40.000 points.

As a registered user, you can filter places based on nationality, age group, and gender by using the Filter Tab on the view set on your page.

Everyone participating in Ski Classics, Pro Tour or Challengers events, recreational and professional skiers can connect their profile to the Ski Classics results database, called MyPages.

MyPages can be connected when registering as a member of the Ski Classics online community ProXCskiing.com. Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XV

The Season XV of Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 15 events on 11 event weekends in 6 different countries. The season started in Bad Gastein, Austria, on December 9, 2023, and will end in Norway with the 100km Ski Classics Grand Finale Janteloppet on April 13, 2024.

Next up is Reistadløpet on April 6 and Summit 2 Senja on April 7. The events mark the 13th and 14th Ski Classics stages of Ski Classics Season XV.
