The Ski Classics Challengers event Alliansloppet, a 48km long-distance rollers ki race in classic technique, took place today in Trollhättan, Sweden. Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, dominated the women’s race. 

Many Ski Classics Pro Team athletes and World Cup skiers matched their skills in a 48km long-distance race today in Trollhättan, Sweden. After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Alliansloppet saw Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, winning the race with a commanding performance.

Alliansloppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, a small leading group with the favorites was formed earlier in the race, and at the last lap, only six strong women were in contention for the win.  

In the end, Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, was the fastest and won the race with a powerful sprint and a time of 2:06:56.0

Julie Kvale Støstad, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, 0.3 seconds behind, closely followed by Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, 0.4 seconds back, and completing the podium in the third position.

Alliansloppet – Ski Classics Challengers

Alliansloppet is the world’s biggest roller ski event, gathering around 1300 participants yearly. The race takes place in Trollhättan, Sweden, a well-known city for its impressive waterfalls. The mythic 16km loop, roller skied three times, led the skiers across appealing landscapes.

As the 48km race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
