La Transjurassienne
The Ski Classics Challengers events La Transjurassienne Classic and Skating take place this Saturday, February 8, and Sunday, February 9, 2025, in France, with location and distance changes.

La Transjurassienne, scheduled initially for a 50km classic race (Ski Classics Challengers) on Saturday, February 8, and 70km and 50km skating events (Ski Classics Challengers) on Sunday, February 9, is now reduced to 40km on all races and a new event location, Darbella, at the Les Rousses resort area.

According to the Local Organizing Committee, the event is confirmed this year. Still, due to adverse weather and snow conditions, the courses are shortened to 40km for both classic and skating events, with a new course at Darbella!

“La Transju’ 2025: New Course at La Darbella!

After exploring all options, La Transju’ is confirmed to take place around the Les Rousses ski resort at the La Darbella site in the Prémanon area. Due to recent mild weather, the connecting trails between different mountain ranges have been damaged. However, unlike last year, well-snowed areas remain around Les Rousses. Since access to certain areas is restricted for environmental reasons, an alternative course has been found at this site—the only one capable of hosting the event in optimal conditions.

New Course: A 40km course (three loops of 13.3km) adapted to the snow conditions and weather!

Program Modifications:
Saturday: Shortened distances for classic-style races, but start times remain unchanged.
Sunday: The 70 km Transjurassienne and the 50 km Skating events will be merged into a single race with one unified ranking: The Transjurassienne 40km.

Staggered starts on Sunday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM for smoother logistics.
1st start at 8:30 AM – 2nd start at 10:00 AM, then open starts until 12:00 PM.
2:30 PM: Start of the 25 km Skating race.
3:00 PM: Start of the 25 km Skating Tour (non-competitive).

Access to La Darbella: Only via FREE shuttle service.
All participants must book their shuttle by tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, at 12:00 PM (the €10 fee will be refunded after the event).
Free spectator shuttles will also be available. A traffic plan is being finalized and will be shared soon.

All practical information and the complete program will be sent by email at the start of the week.

Thank you for your understanding and trust. We look forward to seeing you this weekend for an unforgettable Transju’ 2025!”
