The Ski Classics Challengers event, Furusjøen Rundt-Rennet, took place this Saturday with a 45km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Kvam, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Norway, Furusjøen Rundt-Rennet, saw a solid fight for the podium places. Kari Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Eivind Vold, Oslo Kajakklubb, won their respective races with strong performances.

Furusjøen Rundt-Rennet – 45km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Kari Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, completed the race in a time of 2:27:07.0.

Maren Engeskaug Nielsen, Team Janteloppet, finished in second place, 6:24.0 behind, followed by Sofia Haglung, IL Varden Meråker, completing the podium in third position and 18:32.0 back.

Furusjøen Rundt-Rennet – 45km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Eivind Vold, Oslo Kajakklubb, with a total time of 2:09:36.0.

Ole Eirik Fuglehaug Ekrem, YC RØR Sjusjøen Ski Team, finished in second place, 1.0 seconds back, followed by Tobias Holter, Team Cereal, 4.0 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
