The Ski Classics Challengers event, Energamo Lipnolopet, took place this Saturday with a 55km rollerski race in classic technique in Frýdava, Czech Republic.

After a day full of action, the first Ski Classics Challengers event in the Czech Republic saw Pro Team athletes on all podium places. Jan Šrail, Vltava Fund Ski Team, and Kateřina Janatová, eD system Silvini Team, won the race with solid performances.

In the men’s race, the winner Jan Šrail, Vltava Fund Ski Team, completed the race in a time of 2:14:49.9. 

Stanislav Řezáč, Slavia pojišťovna Sport Team, finished in second place, with a total time of 2:14:56.0, followed by Fabián Štoček, Vltava Fund Ski Team, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 2:15:02.7.

In the women’s competition, the winner was Kateřina Janatová, eD system Silvini Team, with a total time of 2:36:21.1. 

Sandra Schützová, Vltava Fund Ski Team, finished in second place, with a time of 2:38:44.9, followed by Heli Heiskanen, Slavia pojišťovna Sport Team, with a total time of 2:39:57.5 and completing the podium in the third position.

As Lipnolopet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
