Hilda Löf and Andreas Svensson Win Wadköpingsloppet
Today, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Wadköpingsloppet took place with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Örebro, Sweden.
Hilda Löf (Ski Team Göhlins/XC STHLM Ski Club) won Wadköpingsloppet today.
At the end of the day, Wadköpingsloppet saw Pro Tour skier Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC STHLM Ski Club, and Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, win the race with outstanding performances.
In the women’s race, Hilda Löf was 21 minutes in front of second place, Sofia Holmgård, Grava SK, with Ronja Andersdotter, Garphyttans IF, 3 seconds behind in third place.
Andreas Svensson was the fastest today in the men’s competition, followed by Tom Fahlén, Exsitec Ski Team/Landsbro IF SK, 20 seconds behind in second place, and Filip Danielsson, Falun Borlänge SK, in the third position.
As Wadköpingsloppet is a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in respective gender.

Following Visma Ski Classics Challengers events are Åsarna Ski Marathon in Sweden and Alutaguse Marathon in Estonia, both on February 12, and La Transjurassienne in France, on February 13.
