Even Northug Joins Team Northug Crucible

Petter Northug and his Pro Team, Team Northug Crucible, have signed a new athlete, younger brother Even Northug.

Petter Northug announced earlier this year that he is all in for a comeback at the elite level in long-distance skiing this winter. In September, he launched his Pro Team, Team Northug Crucible, and the ambition is to fight at the top in the Ski Classics Pro Tour.

Now Petter has brought Even into the Ski Classics Pro Team, the sprint specialist who also joined the sprint squad of the Norwegian men’s national team last season.

The information is confirmed by Kristin Tomasson, Team Northug Crucible Pro Team Director, to Langrenn.com:

“Even Northug now joined Team Northug Crucible – and we get another Northug in the Ski Classics circus,” says Tomasson.

With younger brother Even Northug on the Pro Team, there are now five athletes in Team Northug Crucible: Petter NorthugEven NorthugPål Trøan AuneJohanne Heimdal, and Ine Løvlien
