The Ski Classics Challengers event, Energamo Lipnolopet, took place this Saturday with a 55km roller ski race in classic technique in the Czech Republic. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Energamo Lipnolopet, took place this Saturday with a 55km roller ski race in classic technique in the Czech Republic. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in the Czech Republic saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Thomas Bing, eD system Vltava Fund Team, and Hedda Bångman, also from the eD system Vltava Fund Team, won their respective races with solid performances.

Energamo Lipnolopet – Men’s Race

The winner of the men’s competition was Thomas Bing, eD system Vltava Fund Team, winning the race with a total time of 2:21:55.2.

Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, finished 3:27.1 behind in second place. Jakob Walther, Slavia pojišťovna Sport Team, finished 3:49.3 back and completed the podium in third place.

  2. Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, +3:27.1
  3. Jakob Walther, Slavia pojišťovna Sport Team, +3:49.3

  5. Václav Sedláček, eD system Vltava Fund Team, +4:17.9

Energamo Lipnolopet – Women’s Race 

The winner of the women’s competition was Hedda Bångman, eD system Vltava Fund Team, winning the race with a total time of 2:39:28.3.

Sandra Schützová, Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV, finished in second place, 2:13.6 behind, followed by Tereza Hujerová, Team Robinson Trentino, 8:00.8 back and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Hedda Bångman, eD system Vltava Fund Team, 2:39:28.3
  2. Sandra Schützová, Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV, 2:13.6

  4. Karolína Grohová, eD system Vltava Fund Team, +21:18.0
  5. Franziska Müller, Team BSV IBEX, +21:45.8
