The Ski Classics Challengers event, Marxa Beret, took place this Sunday with a 32km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Pla de Beret, Spain. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the first-ever Ski Classics Challengers event in Spain, Marxa Beret, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Sadurni Betriu Boix, Team Internorm Trentino GSG/CEAS, and Irati Cuadrado Noain, IRRTZ, won their respective races with solid performances.

Marxa Beret – 32km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Sadurni Betriu Boix, Team Internorm Trentino GSG/CEAS, completed the race in a time of 1:27:00.6.

Diego Ruiz Asin, CMGC, finished in second place, 4:43.9 behind, followed by Oier Ibergallartu Mendez, CVCE, completing the podium in third position and 6:43.8 back.

  1. Sadurni Betriu Boix, Team Internorm Trentino GSG/CEAS, 1:27:00.6
  2. Diego Ruiz Asin, CMGC, +4:43.9
  3. Oier Ibergallartu Mendez, CVCE, +6:43.8
  4. Guillermo Jimenez Atienzar, EMEM, +9:44.4
  5. Iñigo Aldaz Oroz, RNCAL, +10:34.0

Marxa Beret – 32km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Irati Cuadrado Noain, IRRTZ, completing the event in a total time of 1:43:47.6.

Marta Cester Farre, Team Coop/CAEI, finished in second place, 6:18.9 back, followed Laura Orgué Vila, CEFUC, 8:33:2 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
