Wadköpingsloppet 2024

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Wadköpingsloppet, took place this Sunday with a 40km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Örebro, Sweden.

After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden, Wadköpingsloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino, and Olivia Hansson, Karlslunds IF SF, won their respective races with solid performances.

Wadköpingsloppet – 40km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino, with a total time of 1:43:12.7.

Gabriel Strid, Exsitec Ski Team, finished in second place, 2.0 seconds back, followed by Markus Johansson, Offerdals SK, 2:50.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Gustav Eriksson, Team Robinson Trentino, 1:43:12.7
  2. Gabriel Strid, Exsitec Ski Team, +2.0
  3. Markus Johansson, Offerdals SK, +2:50.0
  4. Magnus Waaler, Team Front Rustad IL, +11:50.8
  5. Erik Engström, Tunafors SK, +14:38.2

Wadköpingsloppet – 40km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner Olivia Hansson, Karlslunds IF SF, completed the race in a time of 2:20:44.0.

Emma Dahlgren, Filipstads SF, finished in second place, 7:14.5 behind, followed by Emma Pettersson, Vreta Ski o MK, completing the podium in third position and 8:06.7 back.

  2. Emma Dahlgren, Filipstads SF, +7:14.5

  5. Kajsa Rosdal, Tisdagsklubben Örebro, +18:23.4
