Ski Classics Season XVI starts in Bad Gastein on December 13, 2024. The action-packed first weekend continues on Sunday, December 15, 2024, with the Bad Gastein Criterium.

The season continues on Sunday, December 15. The Criterium race spans over 36 kilometers in Sportgastein, offering participants breathtaking views of the enchanting surroundings of the Tauern Alps. The Bad Gastein Criterium, characterized by a mass start kermesse event, comprises several laps on a challenging course, high action on sprints and climbs, pushing skiers to their limits.

“The Criterium race in Bad Gastein ensures all competitions are open after the first weekend. The relatively short course, which still holds two sprints and two climbs, creates a high-paced event with full speed from start to finish. After an intense December weekend, it is time to celebrate Christmas,” says Ski Classics Director David Nilsson.
