The Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, took place this Sunday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Högbo Bruk, Sweden. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, took place this Sunday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Högbo Bruk, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Sweden, Bessemerloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, and Hjalmar Oscarsson, also from Team Ramudden, won their respective races with solid performances.

Bessemerloppet – 50km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, completing the event in a total time of 2:24:55.8.

Emma Jönsson, Östersunds SK, finished in second place, 1:13.2 back, followed by Ella Georgsson, Högbo GIF, 4:21:6 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, 2:24:55.8
  2. Emma Jönsson, Östersunds SK, +1:13.2
  3. Ella Georgsson, Högbo GIF, +4:21.6
  4. Emma Hållström, Team Walle Skidklubb, +6:53.4
  5. Elsa Wallin, Högbo GIF, +9:01.5

Bessemerloppet – 50km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Hjalmar Oscarsson, Team Ramudden, completed the race in a time of 2:06:02.0.

Markus Hallén Johansson, Team Ramudden/Offerdals SK, finished in second place, 0.7 seconds behind, followed by Bob Impola, Träningskonsulten Sports Club/Hybo AIK, completing the podium in third position and 4.2 seconds back.
