The Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja is fast approaching. New for this season is the unique possibility for recreational skiers outside of the Pro Teams to participate in this spectacular event.

The Ski Classics Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja is fast approaching. New for this season is the unique possibility for recreational skiers outside of the Pro Teams to participate in this spectacular event.

Qualification criteria must be met to register. When qualified, one of the limited start places can be acquired. But don’t wait too long, as there are only 250 spots available!

Who Has Qualified So Far?

So far, 2633 skiers have qualified with their results from a Pro Tour event or two Challengers and earned the Grand Finale qualifier pin in the SC MyPages profile.

Qualification Criteria

The skier must have completed a Ski Classics race from the current season:

  1. One Pro Tour event within the winner’s time plus 50% (in each gender).
  2. Two Challengers events within the winner’s time plus 50% (in each gender).

Once you meet the qualification criteria, the Grand Finale pin will appear on your SC MyPages, allowing you to register for the event. You can access SC MyPages through the Ski Classics webpage. To get the pin into your MyPages profile, connect to the Ski Classics database, which will give you access to all your Ski Classics Pro Tour and Challengers events results, saved in one place!

The Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja Experience

This 60-kilometer long-distance race starts in Bardufoss and finishes in Finnsnes, offering breathtaking views of Norway’s mountains and fjords. The event, introduced in Season XIV, quickly gained recognition, even earning the title of “Best Event of the Year” in its debut season.

Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI

Season XIV of Ski Classics Pro Tour consists of 14 events on 10 event weekends in 6 different countries.

Next up is Birkebeinerrennet on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The 54-kilometer long-distance skiing race in classic technique marks the eleventh Ski Classics Pro Tour stage and fourth Grand Classics of Season XVI.
