The biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025 started last week in Finland. Check here the sprint, individual, mass start, relay, nations cup, and total score standings after the Kontiolahti competitions.

Kontiolahti, in Finland, was the place for the first stage of the biathlon World Cup season 2024/2025. The event started on Saturday, November 30, with the single mixed relay and mixed relay. On Sunday, December 1, a men’s and women’s relay awaited. On Tuesday, December 3, it was time for the men’s short individual.

On Wednesday, December 4, the stage continued with the women’s short individual. The sprint races were contested for men on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, for women. The last day of competitions featured mass start competitions for both men and women on Sunday, December 8.

Next Up – Hochfilzen World Cup

The next stop for the World Cup season 2024/2025 is Hochfilzen, taking place next weekend. Scheduled to take place from December 13 to 15, 2024, this 2nd stage of the World Cup will feature three days of competitions in Austria.

The event starts on Friday, December 13, with a 7.5km/10km sprint, followed by a 10km/12.5km pursuit on Saturday, December 14, and a 4x6km/4×7.5km relay on Sunday, December 15.
