Starting September 16, SC Play brings you five stages of the Tour of Slovakia, live and included in the membership on ProXCskiing.com.

SC Play is expanding beyond cross-country skiing, adding full live coverage of the Tour of Slovakia (Okolo Slovenska). Best known to SC Play’s audience for the Ski Classics World Championship, the network now brings the same live production to one of Central Europe’s oldest stage races. The 70th edition runs from 16 to 20 September: five stages, roughly 849km, closing with a summit finish at Kráľova hoľa (1,946m), the highest finish in the race’s history. The startlist features UCI WorldTour teams Soudal Quick-Step and Lotto-Intermarché, alongside a strong Continental-team field from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Norway, and Sweden.

Kjell Erik Kristiansen and Carl Fredrik Hagen lead English-language commentary across all five stages, live on SC Play. Kristiansen has been a fixture of Norwegian cycling broadcasting for decades, known as “the voice” of the Tour of Norway. Hagen brings a rider’s perspective from a ten-season WorldTour career, including an eighth-place overall finish at the 2019 Vuelta a España, at the time Norway’s best-ever Grand Tour result.
