The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics concluded today for the cross-country skiers in Val di Fiemme, Italy, with the women’s 50km mass start in classic technique.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics concluded today for the cross-country skiers in Val di Fiemme, Italy, with the women’s 50km mass start in classic technique.

Ebba Andersson, from Sweden, delivered a commanding performance, claiming Olympic gold in the 50km mass start race classic – complete results from the women’s event.

Andersson crossed the finish line in a winning time of 2:16:28.2 to secure the gold medal.

Heidi Weng, from Norway, secured the silver medal, finishing 2:15.3 behind the winner. Switzerland’s Nadja Kälin completed the podium in third place, 6:41.5 behind the winner and taking the bronze medal.

Kristin Austgulen Fosnæs, from Norway, and Jessie Diggins, from the USA, rounded out the top five, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
