The Scandinavian Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Vantaa, Finland, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Sofia Henriksson, from Sweden, showed her form and won the sprint race in classic technique at the Scandinavian Cup in Vantaa. Complete results from the women’s event.

Sofia Henriksson, from Sweden, took home first place today in the women’s classic sprint race with a time of 3:43.77.

Hedda Bakkemo, from Norway, grabbed second place, 3.31 seconds back, and Tiia Olkkonen, from Finland, completed the podium in third place, 5.91 seconds behind the winner.

Scandinavian Cup – Vantaa 2025/2026

Vantaa will host three races from Friday to Sunday. The program opens on Friday, January 2, with a 1.3km sprint race in classic technique, followed by a 20km interval start in classic technique on Saturday, January 3. The weekend concludes on Sunday, January 4, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique.
