The Italian Cup – Coppa Italia – started today in Santa Caterina Valfurva with a sprint race in freestyle technique for women and men. Check out the results.
Coppa Italia – Men’s Sprint Race
Mikael Abram (ITA) claimed victory in the men’s 1.2km sprint in freestyle technique in Santa Caterina Valfurva with a winning time of 2:25.50.
Teo Galli (ITA) took second place, just 0.40 seconds back, and Alessandro Chiocchetti (ITA) completed the podium in third, 2.0 seconds behind the winner.

Coppa Italia – Women’s Sprint Race
In the women’s sprint, Virginia Cena (ITA) secured first place with a time of 2:51.20.
Beatrice Laurent (ITA) finished second, 2.70 seconds back, and Martina Bellini (ITA) rounded out the podium in third, 5.70 seconds behind the winner.
