World Champion Johannes Høsflot Klæbo isn’t resting on his laurels. He’s just been on vacation, participated in the Janteloppet, and is already planning a new cabin at Skeikampen in Gausdal.

Klæbo and his partner Pernille Døsvik are well acquainted with the area. They already own a cabin there, and many of the training hours that led to his World Championship triumphs were spent on the trails around Skeikampen in Norway.

Now, the local newspaper gd.no reports that Klæbo and Døsvik are building a new dream cabin in Kjoslia, an area at Skeikampen known for its views and top-class ski conditions. The company Østlaft will construct the cabin.

“With the new plots available in Kjoslia, they couldn’t pass up the chance to find their dream lot and make their cabin dream a reality with Østlaft,” says sales manager Anne-Line Østensen.

Their current cabin was completed in 2020 in Slåseterlia Fjellgrend. But with the new cabin, Klæbo is moving a bit further up the hillside.

“Skeikampen is the perfect place for both training and relaxation for me,” Høsflot Klæbo has previously stated.

According to Østlaft’s Anne-Line Østensen, they are currently in the process of fine-tuning the designs for the new cabin.

“The lot is ready, and we know the cabin will be built with a lower ground floor. But a few details still need to be finalized before construction can start. We’ve worked well together throughout the process and come up with a dream cabin fully tailored to their needs,” says Østensen.
