The cross-country World Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Cogne, Italy, with a sprint race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Maja Dahlqvist, from Sweden, showed her form and won the sprint race in classic technique at the World Cup in Cogne. Complete results from the women’s event.

Maja Dahlqvist, from Sweden, took home first place today in the women’s sprint race with a time of 3:03.87.

Nadine Fähndrich, from Switzerland, grabbed second place, 0.94 seconds back, and Laura Gimmler, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 1.25 seconds behind the winner.

Lotta Udnes Weng and Ane Appelkvist Stenseth, both from Norway, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

After Italy (Cogne), the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.  

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
