Johaug wins Final Climb and Tour de Ski overall

Tour de Ski season 2024/2025 ended today in Val Di Fiemme, Italy, with a 10km mass start race in freestyle technique. Results from the women’s Final Climb up Alpe Cermis.

Tour de Ski season 2024/2025 ended today in Val Di Fiemme, Italy, with a 10km mass start race in freestyle technique. Results from the women’s Final Climb up Alpe Cermis.

Therese Johaug, from Norway, showed her form and won the 10km uphill mass start race in freestyle technique at the Tour de Ski stage 7 in Val Di Fiemme, Italy. Complete results from the women’s Final Climb.

Therese Johaug, from Norway, took home first place today in the women’s Final Climb up Alpe Cermis with a time of 35:59.0.

Astrid Øyre Slind, also from Norway, grabbed second place, 25.5 seconds back, and Heidi Weng completed the Norwegian podium in third place, 28.0 seconds behind the winner.

Tour de Ski Season 2024/2025

Tour de Ski is the fourth stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup season 2024/2025. The event started in Toblach, Italy, on Saturday, December 28, with sprint races in freestyle technique. On Sunday, December 29, it was time for the 15km mass start races in classic technique.

Then, on Tuesday, December 31, the 20km interval start races in freestyle technique awaited. On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, it was time for the 15km pursuit races in classic technique.

After the events in Toblach, the Tour de Ski heads to Val Di Fiemme, also in Italy, for the final events.

On Friday, January 3, there were sprint races in classic technique, followed by the 20km skiathlon races on Saturday, January 4, and on Sunday, December 5, the Tour de Ski ended with the Final Climb, the 10km mass start race in freestyle technique up to the Alpe Cermis.

After Tour de Ski (Italy) the World Cup heads to France (Les Rousses), Switzerland (Engadin), and Italy (Cogne) in January 2025.

Then, the World Cup heads to Sweden (Falun) in mid-February and Norway (Trondheim) for the World Championships at the end of February and beginning of March.

After the World Championships, the World Cup ends the season with weekends in Norway (Oslo), Estonia (Tallinn), and Finland (Lahti).
