Burger King is Petter Northug’s new partner. The long-distance and traditional cross-country skiing star is now collaborating with the restaurant chain, aiming to lead himself and his team to victory at Vasaloppet.

Petter Northug is back with his long-distance team, and now he announces both his team and new sponsor.

“We have big ambitions for the team this winter. I’m not hiding the fact that one of our goals is to win Vasaloppet, the world’s largest ski race. This agreement helps us come a long step closer,” says Northug in a press release.

Northug is proud that a major international brand like Burger King, with a strong position in Norway, wants to invest in his team’s future.

“We work extremely hard to reach our goals, but we also enjoy a good break every now and then. That’s when Burger King fits perfectly,” Northug adds.
