For the upcoming season, Joly has decided to join the Norwegian Pro Team, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso:

“I was not in the idea of changing teams, and I had an exchange with Team Næringsbanken (Stora Enso) in Lillehammer,” the French athlete says to Nordic Magazine and continues:

“They offered to discuss a contract. I talked about it with the members of the TNE and my family, and then we came to an agreement.”

Thomas is already set to train with his new squad from May 31:

“For the winter, I will be with them either in Livigno for the European part or in Lillehammer for the Scandinavian races. I’m excited! The Scandinavians are the leaders in long-distance skiing, so that I will learn a lot. Personally, I want to improve my results and get on my first podium while being more consistent over the season by getting closer to the pink bib for the best Youth skier.”
