Johannes Eklöf and Hilda Löf Winners of Wadköpingsloppet

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Wadköpingsloppet, took place on Sunday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Örebro, Sweden.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Wadköpingsloppet, took place on Sunday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Örebro, Sweden.

The Ski Classics Challengers event saw Johannes Eklöf, Team Ramudden, and Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, winning the race with strong performances.

Wadköpingsloppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, with a total time of 1:54:16.8. 

Jessica Häggqvist, Nordingrå SK, finished in second place, with a time of 1:56:15.2, followed by Olivia Hansson, Karlslunds IF SF, with a total time of 2:06:56.7, and completing the podium in the third position. 

Wadköpingsloppet – Top 3 Women

  1. Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, 1:54:16.8
  2. Jessica Häggqvist, Nordingrå SK, +1:58.4
  3. Olivia Hansson, Karlslunds IF SF, +12:39.9

Wadköpingsloppet – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner, Johannes Eklöf, Team Ramudden, completed the race in a time of 1:40:41.8.

Filip Danielsson, Wedevågs IF, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:40:43.7, followed by Per Ingvar Tollehaug, Team Synnfjell, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:40:47.3.

As Wadköpingsloppet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
