Jonna Sundling secured first place in the women’s sprint race in freestyle technique for Sweden at Italy’s Livigno Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. Results from the women’s sprint race.

Jonna Sundling took home first place today at the Livigno World Cup with a total time of 2:45.70. Maja Dahlqvist, also from Sweden, finished in second place, 1.05 seconds behind the winner.

Emma Ribom, completing a podium hat trick for Sweden, finished in third place, 1.30 seconds back. 

Nadine Faehndrich, from Switzerland, and Linn Svahn, from Sweden, round off the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

New this season is the exact race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
