Ebba Andersson secured first place in the women’s 10km classic race for Sweden at Finland’s Ruka Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. Results from the women’s 10km classic race.

Ebba Andersson took home first place today at the Ruka World Cup. Frida Karlsson, also from Sweden, finished in second place, 5.7 seconds behind the winner.

Katharina Hennig, from Germany, completed the podium in third place, 13.3 seconds back.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
