Klæbo Ready For Beitostølen
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo will start the season at Beitostølen, Norway, in less than two weeks.
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is registered for the season premiere at Beitostølen, which will be held on November 18 to 20.
The 25-year-old, struggling with a hamstring injury since July, reported last week that he was still unsure if he would make it to the Norwegian national season premiere at Beitostølen.
Now, Klæbo is confirmed for the opening weekend. At Beitostølen, he will race both distance races, 10km classic on Saturday and 10km freestyle on Sunday, but will miss the sprint on Friday.
Johannes Høsflot Klæbo is currently in Livigno, Italy, completing his last altitude training camp before the start of the season. He will return to Trondheim on Friday, a week before the season premiere at Beitostølen.
Klæbo is one of many World Cup skiers who have the final preparations at the altitude paradise, the so-called Little Tibet.
The remaining men’s national team skiers are in their last training camp before the start of the season in Muonio, Finland.
