Latvia and Sweden Winners Of The Team Sprint Race At The Junior Rollerski World Championships

The Junior Rollerski World Championships had its second day this Friday with a Team Sprint in classic technique in Madona, Latvia. Latvia (Samanta Krampe and Linda Kaparkalēja) and Sweden (Malte Jutterdal and Anton Grahn) won their respective races.

The Junior Rollerski World Championships had its second day this Friday with a Team Sprint in classic technique in Madona, Latvia. Latvia (Samanta Krampe and Linda Kaparkalēja) and Sweden (Malte Jutterdal and Anton Grahn) won their respective races.

Latvia (Samanta Krampe and Linda Kaparkalēja) took first place today at the FIS Junior Rollerski World Championships in the junior women’s Team Sprint classic race. Kazakhstan (Yelizaveta Tolmachyova and Mariya Gerachshenko) snagged second place, and Estonia (Gerda Kivil and Katlin Kukk) completed the podium in third place.

  1. Latvia (Samanta Krampe and Linda Kaparkalēja), 26:03.48
  2. Kazakhstan (Yelizaveta Tolmachyova and Mariya Gerachshenko), +1.99
  3. Estonia (Gerda Kivil and Katlin Kukk), +8.30

In the junior men’s Team Sprint classic technique race, Sweden (Malte Jutterdal and Anton Grahn) took home first place. Ukraine (Volodymyr Aksiuta and Oleksandr Lisohor) snagged second place, and Latvia (Lauris Kaparkalējs and Rainers Paeglis) completed the podium in third place.
