Women’s Relay Gold For Norway At the Junior World Championships
The second day of the Junior and U23 World Cross-Country Ski Championships saw Norway winning the U20 women’s relay 4×3.3km in a tight finish with Russia.
Team Norway won today’s U20 women’s relay 4×3.3km on home turf with Maria Hartz Melling, Emma Kirkeberg Moerk, Tuva Anine Brusveen-Jensen and Anna Heggen. Russia’s team finished 0.1 seconds behind the winner, and Evgeniya Krupitskaya, Dariya Nepryaeva, Anna Kozhinova, and Elizaveta Bekisheva, got the silver medal.
Germany quartet of Verena Veit, Germana Thannheimer, Lara Dellit, and Helen Hoffmann, finished 35.4 seconds back and got the bronze medal.
