Today, the women’s freestyle race at the Lysebotn Opp was held, and Heidi Weng (NOR) had a dominant performance in the tough Norwegian uphill race.

Today, the women’s freestyle race at the Lysebotn Opp was held, and Heidi Weng (NOR) had a dominant performance in the tough Norwegian uphill race.

The women’s uphill race, Lysebotn Opp, in freestyle technique, started this year’s Blink Festival. Heidi Weng, from the Norwegian National Team, was superior in the 7.5-kilometer race.

Weng won ahead of Ebba Andersson, Swedish National Team, who won last year’s race. Helen Marie Fossesholm from Norway finished in third place.

Next, at 13:30 CET, it’s time for the women’s and men’s double poling race, and at 15:00, the men’s race is in freestyle technique.

On Thursday, August 1, it’s time for Blink Classics, a 50-kilometer roller ski race in classic technique, with Astrid Øyre Slind and Andrew Musgrave as reigning champions.
