It’s been 32 months since his last competition. He’s gone two years without training and has barely done a hard workout. Yet, this weekend, Sivert Bakken out-sprinted Johannes Thingnes Bø during his comeback at the season premiere in Sjusjøen.
The Norwegian season premiere at Sjusjøen kicked off with thrilling performances in both the women’s and men’s sprints, as Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold claimed victory. Check out the results.

Due to the current snow situation with warm weather and insufficient artificial snow, Sjusjøen Super Criterium scheduled for November 12 will be canceled.
Petter Northug announced earlier in September that he would make a comeback this winter with his own Pro Team. Now it has been disclosed his first snow competition.
