The Ski Classics Challengers event, Tjejvasan, took place this Saturday with a 30km long-distance race in classic technique from Oxberg to Mora, Sweden. Check out the results.
Last weekend offered solid results for Finnish Pro Team athletes in the Ski Classics premiere events in Bad Gastein. Two women finished in the top ten, and one man was in the top 15 – one of the standout Finnish skiers, Kati Roivas, finished sixth in the Criterium on Sunday.
During Ski Classics Season XIV, Kati Roivas achieved several top 6 places and a top 4 at Engadin La Diagonela. For the upcoming season, the Finnish Pro Team athlete joined Team Eksjöhus and shared her impressions on the first training camp with the squad, new coach, plans, and goals for the winter.
The Finnish Pro Tour athlete had by far the best season of her career. Now the seventh place overall at the Ski Classics Champion competition Season XIV is ready for two seasons with Team Eksjöhus.
During Ski Classics Season XIV, Kati Roivas, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso, achieved several top 6 places and a top 4 at Engadin La Diagonela and was particularly satisfied with the progress in January.
The Ski Classics Season XIV ends with a two-race weekend in Norway: Reistadløpet and the new Pro Tour event Summit 2 Senja.

Today in a press release, Team Næringsbanken and Langløp AS announced that they entered into a cooperation agreement with the Norwegian company Stora Enso Skog AS. With international Pro Tour skiers from Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, and Norway, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso has set the goal of succeeding at both Vasaloppet and other Ski Classics events in the upcoming seasons.
Kati Roivas gets an offer and decides to join Team Næringsbanken after spending two years on the Ski Classics circuit with Team Nordic Experience. Roivas talks with ProXCskiing about this new opportunity.
