Gjerde Alnæs and Hollmann winners at the Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic 2026

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic, took place this Saturday with a 41km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Vernon, Canada. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Canada, Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic, saw Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon/Rustad IL, and Maximillian Hollmann, Big Thunder Nordic, winning their respective races with solid performances.

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic – Women’s 41km Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon/Rustad IL, completed the race in a time of 2:08:10.4.

Alison Mackie, Edmonton Nordic, finished in second place, 3:13.5 behind, followed by Frida Erkers, Falun, completing the podium in third position and 4:49.2 back.

  2. Alison Mackie, Edmonton Nordic, +3:13.5

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon Classic – Men’s 41km Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Maximillian Hollmann, Big Thunder Nordic, with a total time of 1:56:00.5.

Xavier McKeever, Foothills Nordic, finished in second place, 9.7 seconds back, followed by Remi Drolet, Black Jack, 3:07.2 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

  1. Maximillian Hollmann, Big Thunder Nordic, 1:56.00.5
  2. Xavier McKeever, Foothills Nordic, +9.7
