Team Ramudden: Swedish powerhouse Pro Team to shut down
After several years as one of the strongest Pro Teams in Ski Classics, Team Ramudden is shutting down its operations.
Lina and Gustaf Korsgren founded Team Ramudden in 2018. Since then, the Pro Team has been one of the most successful squads in Ski Classics. Emilie Fleten, the team’s biggest star, won Vasaloppet last weekend.

But now comes the news that Lina and Gustaf have decided to close the team.
“We have decided to bring the team to the finish line! Team Ramudden has been a life project for Gustaf and me, where we now feel that we have achieved development and fulfilled dreams together with everyone involved. We have realized our vision for the team and reached the goals we set when we started the team in 2018. The decision has grown over time, and for us as a family, it feels right to conclude this project now,” says Lina Korsgren in a press release.
Several major victories
The Pro Team has a total of six victories at Vasaloppet, five victories at Marcialonga, two overall Ski Classics Champion titles, best Pro Team twice, top-3 for seven seasons, and many other top achievements.
“During its years of operation, Team Ramudden has established itself as a strong and leading actor in the long-distance skiing world. The team’s goal has been to create a professional environment for both established athletes and future talents. This has resulted in several successes at both national and international level through overall victories, podium finishes, and not least six Vasaloppet wins,” the press release states.
The decision means that no sponsor or athlete contracts will be extended and that the team’s operations will end after the season.
