Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Klarälvsloppet took place today in Karlstad, Sweden. The 90 km long course was raced in classic technique.

After an eventful day, Hanna Falk from Lager 157 Ski Team and Max Novak from Team Ramudden won the event with impressive performances. Novak was able to get his fifth consecutive roller-ski race victory while Falk managed to have her first.

Simen Engebretsen Nordli from Team Næringsbanken was second and Andreas Nygaard from Team Ragde Charge third. The big surprise was Petter Northug who finished 5th. In the women’s race, Lina Korsgren from Team Ramudden was second after a tight sprint finish. Linnea Johansson was third.

As Klarävlsloppet was a Visma Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes were able tocollect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in respective gender.

All participants in today’s race receive points for their SC ranking which they can check by logging in for free to MyPages.

The results of Klarälvsloppet and a list of all Challengers events with already confirmed dates for the season 2021/22 can be found on vismaskiclassics.com.
