Pro Team athletes win Gastein Classics 2025

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Gastein Classics, took place this Saturday afternoon with a long-distance classic technique race in Sportgastein, Austria. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Gastein Classics, took place this Saturday afternoon with a long-distance classic technique race in Sportgastein, Austria. Check out the results.

After a day full of action at the Ski Classics Challengers event in Austria, the Gastein Classics featured a fierce battle for the podium places. Ultimately, Ole Eirik Fuglehaug Ekrem (Team Sport 1 Lillehammer) and Madelene Nord (Bruse Sauerland Ski Team) won their respective races with solid performances.

Gastein Classics – Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Eirik Fuglehaug Ekrem, Team Sport 1 Lillehammer, completed the race in a time of 1:05:32.4.

Tim Magnusson, DPONLY Ski Club, finished in second place, just 2.9 seconds behind, followed by Sebastian Jansson Saadio, Sälens IF, completing the podium in third position and 1:43.9 back.

Gastein Classics – Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, Madelene Nord, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team, won with a total time of 1:13:24.8.

Laura Stichling, eD system RSJ Team, finished in second place, 3:14.6 back, followed by Luisa Griessbaum, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, 5:08.2 back, completing the podium in third place.

As the Gastein Classics 30km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
